Adam
Adam
Adam was awarded the Jack Petchey Award 2017 for the improvements made in his employability and technical skills. We even held a little extra award ceremony in our virtual world so that our staff and learners could join in congratulating him!
He has worked on numerous Virtual World projects, which have stretched and challenged him (and used his great 3D modelling skills). He has shown enthusiasm and motivation on every task he’s been presented with.
Adam has undertaken lots of outward facing events including meeting the (then) Croydon MP/Minister for London and attending showcases for Autism Awareness and Disability Fairs. He has worked to raise awareness of the needs of people with Autism and how innovative technology can support them - his own achievements are proof of this!
Adam has learned to maintain a professional approach, and is proactive in meeting and supporting new learners. He is motivated and approaches complex tasks positively, and works hard to exceed expectations.
He maintains an online portfolio of all his achievements, which has included NVQs, various courses and projects, and he is now working on an ITQ Award.
